Who We Are
DispatchLog is operated by Travis S. Lopez, an individual based in California. DispatchLog is a web application that automates dispatch tracking and pay calculation for union construction workers.
When this policy says "we", "us", or "our" it refers to Travis S. Lopez operating DispatchLog at dispatchlog.net.
What We Collect
We collect only the information needed to run the app and provide its core features.
- Google account information — your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Google. We use this to identify your account.
- Dispatch email data — if you configure email forwarding, dispatch emails are forwarded to a DispatchLog address. We receive the forwarded email to extract job details (job number, address, foreman, start time). We do not store the full email content — only the specific job fields extracted from it.
- Job dispatch data — job number, job name, address, city, foreman name, report time, and date. Entered manually or extracted from forwarded dispatch emails, and stored in our database.
- Hours and pay data — the hours you log per shift, your hourly rate, and calculated pay. Entered by you directly in the app.
- Home address — used solely to calculate round-trip mileage to each job site. Stored in your account settings.
- Mileage data — round-trip distance from your home to each job site, calculated using the Google Maps Distance Matrix API.
- Billing information — subscription payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers.
- Session data — a session cookie is used to keep you logged in. It expires after 30 days.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to operate the app and provide the features you signed up for.
- Processing forwarded dispatch emails to extract and store job details, when email forwarding is configured
- Calculating your union pay based on your rate history
- Calculating mileage from your home to each job site
- Displaying your earnings history and year-to-date totals
- Sending subscription-related emails via Stripe
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating DispatchLog.
Google User Data
DispatchLog's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We do not use your Google data to serve advertisements.
- We do not transfer your Google data to third parties except as necessary to provide the DispatchLog service (Google APIs, Stripe for billing).
- We do not use your Google data to train machine learning models.
Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the third-party services required to operate DispatchLog:
- Google APIs — Google Sign-In (profile and email, used to identify your account), Google Maps Distance Matrix (used to calculate mileage). Your data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — handles subscription billing. Your payment information is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy. We do not store card numbers on our servers.
- Cloudflare — our server infrastructure runs behind Cloudflare Tunnel and inbound email is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing. Request metadata (IP addresses, headers) passes through Cloudflare's network. Your data is subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
No other third parties receive your data.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on a self-hosted server in the United States. We use HTTPS for all connections. Access to the server and database is restricted.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains in the database and is not automatically deleted. If you want your data deleted, contact us at the address below.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you the following rights:
- Right to know — you can request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months, including the categories of information, the sources, the purposes for which we use it, and any third parties we share it with.
- Right to delete — you can request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct — you can request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not use sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days. If we need additional time (up to a further 45 days), we will notify you of the extension and the reason within the initial 45-day period.
We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. We will not fulfill requests we cannot verify.
Cookies
DispatchLog uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie expires after 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics.

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of DispatchLog after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
